Terry Cloth Pink
I love the color and the softness of this terry cloth. My out-of-the-box first impression wasn't all that great, though. The fabric seemed thin and had lots of pulls. I trimmed off the pulls, and cut the terry cloth into bath towels, hand towels, and washcloths. It was very difficult to get the edges straight due to the slight stretchiness of the terry cloth. (It's not STRETCHY-stretchy, but it does have a bit of give.) I sergered all the edges, then laundered them. They washed up very nicely, and the fabric is about twice as thick as it was. They're incredibly soft, too. However, the fabric did seem to shrink unevenly, causing my halfway-straight edges to become uneven again. I'll need to re-trim them and square them back up. As far as shrinkage, my 12" washcloths are about 11-1/2" now, so there is quite a bit of shrinkage. They're still usable, though, and I'm not unhappy. I would buy the terry cloth again, but next time I'd buy extra to allow for the uneven edges and for shrinkage. In fact, next time I'd probably wash it before cutting it. You can still tell where a few of the pulls were, but it's not overly obvious. I'd recommend this product for general use, but if you're expecting "high end" towels from it, you might be a little disappointed.
