Cotton Broadcloth Black
I enjoy this fabric in my purse. the purse was a full purse and it did good.

This is my go to black cotton. It wrinkles horribly though and catches lint easily. but for the price..... honestly, if you sew, you should have an iron and a lint roller anyway. It's light weight, has a SLIGHT stretch to it, and it's cheaper than muslin. Love it!

Basic broadcloth acts as a lint magnet
Ok - this is a basic broadcloth. It is fairly light weight and good for basic crafting projects. The black is nice and black - not a faded look or barely-black or mottled fabric. I bought it to use as an inexpensive small quilt backing. It worked great for that EXCEPT -
This fabric grabs on to more lint and fuzz than any fabric I have worked with before! I am going to have to take some sort of lint roller to the back once I am done, and hope it stays clean long enough to ship it off!
I was disappointed in that actually. Not sure why - you would think it was magnetized.
