Description: The Sylvia Sling is Serendipity’s version of the popular hobo bag. Our design features a soft sided bag with three style options to showcase your choice of fabrics. The narrow side of the bag uses a stiff stabilizer so that the bag stands nicely on its own. There are lots of interior pockets to help keep you organized and a zipper closure to keep stuff in its place. The wide comfortable handle sits nicely on the shoulder and has options for a buckle, button, or decorative flower closure. The pattern includes complete instructions and tissue pieces for the bag in three variations. The finished bag measures 14" wide X 7" high X 4" deep with a 20" handle/strap..

Pre-Treat Your New Fabrics!

It is very important to treat/ wash your new fabrics exactly as you plan to treat/wash them after the garment or home décor item is made. Even dry cleaning can produce some shrinkage. We recommend you test a 4’’ x 4’’ square of your new fabric if you are at all unsure how it will react to your chosen laundering method. If you always test the same sized square, you will be able to check the percentage of shrinkage.
