Rated 4 out of 5 by Elmo Stretchy material good for Shirts
I originally purchased this to make a dressier legging which was going to be two toned (two fabric0 since the color looked so rich and blue. I have to admit I was a little disappointed that the color is not at all what is depicted from the image. However I took my purchase in stride and made a lounge peplum t-shirt instead. Its quite comfortable and it is a pretty blue, just not the color I was expecting.

Rich blue fabric. I originally ordered it with making a maxi skirt for my child. She saw the fabric and asked that I make leggings with it instead. The material is perfect for both, in my opinion. Beautiful rich popping blue with a nice stretch. Excellent for a relaxing wear.

Rated 4 out of 5 by BusyMum Great for pjs
I made my 11yo a pair of pj shorts from this fabric. The fabric is lightweight and easy to work with. My son said the shorts are very comfortable. Perfect for summer.

I purchased this to make leggings, but it would make great loungewear, shirts and dresses as well. It has excellent recovery for a cotton jersey. Be warned that it shrinks a LOT lengthwise so be sure to pre-launder your fabric. The fabric is exceptionally comfortable.
It's quite a bright, rich blue - it is brighter than the photo would make you think.

Rated 4 out of 5 by FabricJunkie Lighter weight than expected
I agree with the other reviewer that this fabric is not a royal blue. It's not a bad color, but the color is definitely richer in the photo. And here's a warning: It's one of those knits that you have to sew up immediately after cutting. If you wait until tomorrow, you'll have to fight the rolling edges. Because I had planned to do this anyway, it wasn't so difficult to work with. I made my husband a t-shirt, though it's not quite as beefy as I would've liked. I wish fabric.com had some truly heavy weight knits for sale! Everything is sheer and tissue weight. The Laguna cotton is not completely sheer, but it's not really t-shirt weight either. I would say this is ideal for women's tops. I might order it again, but for myself.

Rated 5 out of 5 by dreamondriver wouldn't call it royal blue
I wouldn't describe the color of this fabric as "royal blue". It's lighter than that. Not exactly what I was expecting, but it's still a nice basic color.
This is light- to medium-weight, which is exactly what I was looking for to make leggings. I'll definitely be ordering the laguna stretch cotton in other solid colors. It washes well without pilling or losing its stretch.
