Who in this world likes to see his or her business be destroyed? The Once-ler sure didn't. He spent so many days creating a big building to make thneeds (a fine something that all people need), and yet, he still managed to fail severely in this occupation! Poor Oncie! The reason that no more thneeds could be made at the end of the movie was because the last tree that used to create them was cut down, and the entire forest was clear cut and polluted by smoke. Obviously this was the Once-ler's fault, but he realized this later on, and he began to regret all that he did in life. My advice to everyone in the real world would be to not do things in life that one will regret, or at least, attempt to do this. Trying is always the best way to go. I close this message now by implying the following: Here's to the Once-ler - live your life to the limit!
