  • Rated 5 out of 5 by from Nice, Inexpensive cotton linen blend I used this in white, width 44", railroad to make a 68" long tie up valance. It has body and it turned out great. I left it unlined so the light can filter through. I haven't washed it yet, so I don't know about shrinkage or wrinkles. I plan to rinse it out by hand and drip dry. It's a soft white color, not a bright white.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good for making suits I like the fact that it is a little thicker than a usual linen blend that I work with. I use this to make linen suits that have a lightweight cotton lining inside. It does feel stiff when you first work with it. But, after washing it, it does feel a lot softer to the touch. It does have to be ironed, but that is to be expected with all linens that I have worked with (even with blends). Very much enjoy using this and continue to order it every time I am asked to make a linen suit.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from I HATE IRONING I purchased this fabric knowing it was a blend. What I can't understand is why it's so thick and it took forever to get the wrinkles out. I buy all my fabric from here and a lot is Linen or a blend.. You couldn't use this for heirloom sewing. I have never had to iron any of the previous linen and linen blends that I have purchased here.
