Fall Block Party Preview

The fabric.com Summer Block Party was so much fun that we decided to continue this series into our favorite time of the year! Starting Tuesday, September 12th, visit the blog each week for a brand new free quilt block pattern. There will be 9 blocks in total!

This block party theme was inspired by the coming of Autumn. When the rich, warm colors of amber and spice begin to creep into the leaves, but much of the surrounding foliage is still crisp and green. Scents of pumpkin spice and apple cider fill the air and we prepare for all the Fall holidays that we love so much.

We wanted this block party to be more of a sew along, so we are previewing all 9 quilt block designs today. That way, you can pick your favorites and make fabric selections early so we can sew these up together! We even selected a cohesive Kona Cotton color palette for fall to make your fabric picks even easier.

Kona Cotton color palette:

Last but not least, let's talk colors! This Kona Cotton color palette was the inspiration for the series. However, many of the designers will be mixing in some fun prints too (even Liberty of London!) so the sky is the limit.
