We love this new collection (and Christopher’s work) so much that we had to give you more details and sewing inspiration so you can start getting creative!
Christopher Thompson is a New York City based mini-quilt designer in the fashion industry who puts his own creative spin on style. His perspective is modern while his approach is 100% down-to-earth. When not creating, Christopher can be found walking around the city with his French bulldog, Edie, searching for sweet treats.
Inspired by his modern point of view, signature blue shirt, and traditional Southern roots, Blue Carolina strikes the perfect balance between classic and contemporary. Christopher’s French Bulldog, Miss Edie Grey, even makes an appearance in a repeat print.
We love the delightful floral prints in this collection, but most of all we adore the Cut Sew Repeat Tagline printprint. There are endless possibilities for this one, from apparel to sewing room accents!

In Christopher’s own words, “Some people might not know this, but I’m a neat freak. If my work space is messy, I can’t focus and I spend hours spinning.” “I do most of my creating at night and on the weekends.” “My job in the fashion industry provides lots of inspiration for my fabric collections, including the latest trends on color and print and pattern.” “I find that I create in phases. I’m currently on a triangle phase.”
