There are only two more blocks left in our fabric.com Summer Block Party! We hope you've had as much fun as we have with this series. Block #7 was created by the Christopher Thompson (better known as The Tattooed Quilter) and is a great one for beginners and seasoned sewists alike.
We recommend joining this block with others from our Summer Block Party to create a fun picnic quilt.
Let's get started on the Fishy Fish block!
Fabric Choices
Navy, yellow and a splash of polka dot was the fabric theme of this block! To create your own Fishy Fish, you'll need:
Materials Needed:
- 2 Fat Quarters Navy Fabric (Christopher chose Riley Blake Crayola Solids in Midnight Blue)
- 2 Fat Quarters Yellow Fabric (Christopher chose Riley Blake Crayola Solids in Dandelion)
- Christopher also added a splash of these Riley Blake Dots to his block for a little color! This is optional, of course.
