In 1911, six Marcus brothers founded Marcus Brothers Textiles in New York City. In effort to preserve textile histories, Marcus Brothers collaborates with museums to create some of their reproduction print collections. Their designers include Judie Rothermel, Paula Barnes, Faye Burgos, and Teresa Kogut.
  • In 1987 under the guidance of Judie Rothermel, Marcus Brothers produced the line of 1930s reproduction fabrics for quilters, under the guidance of Judie Rothermel – the Aunt Grace collection
  • In 2007, Marcus Brothers Textiles changed the name of their retail brand to Marcus Fabrics
