Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great fabric, bad photo Kaffe Fassett shot cottons are great for tiny doll clothes: They are lightweight, and the loose weave makes them soft and drapey. The only thing I could do without is the tendency to stretch in both directions. (Most plain weave cottons will stretch a bit along the weft but not along the warp.) The actual colour is many steps lighter than the photo indicates. I agree with the previous reviewer; it's a mid green. It is subtle in its "shot-ness", being made from two mid-range greens. Kudos to fabric.com staff for mentioning the two colours each of the colourways are made from; it helps a lot with the tricky task of identifying the colours in my stash when reordering.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A dream green This green is a middle green: not light not dark not tending to blue or yellow or muddy or bright or dark or pale. It's in the MIDDLE. It is not Mint nor Leaf nor Kiwi nor Ivy. It's close to Apple-maybe. Fassett fabrics should not be resisted ever because they just feel great: supple, soft, sumptuous. I like this green, even if isn't Retro.
