Rated 3 out of 5 by from I don't think this is double gauze I purchased 5 pieces of 'double gauze' from this site. Two of the three are very different from the other three- and this is one of them. There are two layers but the texture is completely different! Not nearly as soft as the Gauze and Effect brand. I'll be keeping it because I think it will still make a nice lightweight stroller blanket once it's washed. But not what I want to make swaddling blankets from.
