This double gauze consists of two layers of gauze tacked together. It has a more crisp hand than other double gauzes and some drape. Colors include black, white, green, purple, grey and tan. Please Note: Due to the printing process, this gauze has a crisper hand than other double gauzes, and should soften with repeated use and washings.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from This is not double gauze!!! Stop selling this product. I ordered 5 different pieces of double gauze and this one is not like the others!! One of the other 5 isn't right either, so be very cautious when ordering double gauze from this site.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not Double Gauze This fabric is not very lightweight, it is medium to heavy for cotton. It is not two layers tacked together. The description is not accurate.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Not as expected, but still useful I bought this fabric along with the same fabric with white background to make swaddling blankets. The difference between the two fabrics was remarkable, but I suspect the darker fabric's stiff texture is due to the additional dye and sizing, etc. The upside to this is that it is easier to cut and hem due to the texture. After two washings it has now softened quite a bit, and I will wash a few more times to bring it to a softer, more drapy feel. The excess, after making the blankets, I used to make bowl cozies that turned out great.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from not like any double gauze I've ever used This feels like a light canvas, not at all the texture you'd expect when it's described as double gauze. There is no drape, screen printed, zero wrinkled texture. It would make good drapes, or a tablecloth, but definitely not apparel fabric.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not As Described! This fabric is as stiff as cardboard (well, almost)! I was so looking forward to making a floaty, light blouse, but it's not to be. I certainly wouldn't swaddle an infant in this fabric. I have no idea what to do with this, it might live in my stash forever. Unfortunately Fabric.com doesn't allow returns from Canada. Another bummer.
