I purchased several colors in these Kaufman linen blends and they are beautiful! This color, as I read in the comments is lighter than the photo. I just wanted to add that it is MUCH lighter. I would describe is as a light grey-blue. Very pale shade. It is pretty but I am still in search of a light blue. ;)

I ordered several samples in different colors because I needed several yards for a quilt. None of the lighter colors were represented very well on the website. Given that monitors are going to represent colors differently to begin with, I was surprised how off they were. The one swatch I was sure would work, was bright blue. If you have time, it's well worth the price to order the swatch. This blue is so light it's really just a hint of blue.
It does look good in the quilt.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Eliza Nice linen blend
For the price this is a great linen blend. I didn't have an issue with the texture being to rough after it was washed. I like to work with linen and linen blends because the drape of the fabric is so lovely, this material was no exception. I do agree with the other reviewer the color is much lighter than pictured, very pale blue.

I am a hug fan of the Kaufman Linen Blend fabric. I really love this color, It is much lighter than it shows up on the computer screen. When it arrive it is really stiff, but I have had great luck prewashing and drying it. It works great for skirts or shirts that have a crisp collar or cuff, but I am sure that it would work well for a piar of summer shorts, pants, or skirt.

I can't believe this fabric is recommended for apparel. Its awfully scratchy, and I tried washing and even adding more and more softener each time, but to no avail. I bought five different colors, and a total of 13.5 yards, and it was a waste of money. It irritates my skin to even carry it. I will try fully lining anything I make. Hopefully the sharp fiber ends won't poke through the lining fabric!
