I would recommend watching the YouTube video on how to use this. It stresses that the Heat of the iron is what fuses the tape to the batting. It does take some trial and error to find what setting on your iron to use for different battings (poly or cotton). When it is still warm it may seem like it is fused, but once it cools you can tell for sure if it is or not.
I would recommend testing the entire length that is fused prior to pin basting. If you are going to laundering the quilt, I would make sure that you have some machine quilting over the tape to help secure the seam. I learned this the hard way...
It is nice that the roll is 15 yards. It will last a while. It is a great value.
