Rated 4 out of 5 by Great Service, Great Fabric, Color Off. Order a Swatch! This was my first dealing with and I will definitely continue using them, that being said, I had a problem with this linen. First, let me say, it is a fantastic fabric. It has nice body as is and is a good hand and weight. I can't wait to soften it up and start sewing. My problem is simply that the color is drastically off. While I realize that colors differ on monitors, the fabric I received goes far beyond what is an acceptable color difference. Online, it looks like a vibrant green; a mossy, acidic or "fig" (duh) green. What I got was a muted/ faded version of this that looks similar to an army drab green. I took a few shots, with and without flash with my camera and it photographs that vibrant green, so it isn't the websites fault, so I suppose I should have ordered a swatch, but it's not even the same tone or shade. If I saw a fig this color at the market, I'd put it back. I will definitely be able to use it for the shorts I was intending to make using this linen, but I'm almost considering throwing it in a diluted yellow or orange dye bath. So, if you were passing on this linen because it looked too bright, then it's certainly for you! But if you're like me and had your heart set on something eye catching in a bold uncommon acidic green, buy with caution. Still rates 4 stars because of the quality of the fabric itself and the excellent and ridiculously fast service I received. May 7, 2013
