Lots of pulls and defects that run across from selvage to selvage. I bought a yard but was only able to use half of it.

I bought 2 yards of this to use in my shop as backing for baby burp cloths. It was thin, had many loop pulls and a 1/2 inch wide weaving flaw that ran the entire length of the fabric. This was located in an area that caused me to waste a lot of fabric as I could not work around it. I use Shannon Fabrics' minky every day in my business and have found very few flaws. Was shocked at the poor quality of this terry cloth!

I have purchased probably 10 yards of this cloth over the past year. I use it to make bibs of various shapes and sizes. As all my bibs are made with cotton print fabric front and back, with the terry cloth inbetween I think this is great value.

Rated 5 out of 5 by SCAnna Great for towels and wash cloths
I'm writing the review to refute those who stated that this is not quality material. I purchased a yard to make baby bibs for my young great niece or Christmas. I never got around to it. But later decided to make wash cloths. I purchased a yard. And after washing and drying the uncut yard, I used a 12 by 12 template to cut the material. I used a pair of pinking shears to reduce the fraying. I had about 2 yards of diaper material that I cut into strips and made a bias tape. I don't own a serger so I used the home made bias tape to sew around the rough edges of the terry cloth squares. I then used my embroidery stitches to add a little color and designs to the borders. I then washed and dried the terry cloth squares. The fluffed up nicely. And the feel is oh so soft. I was able to get 17 wash cloths from the yardage. They are used every for everyday bathing and have been washed and dried several times. I'm really pleased with the final result. Good quality wash cloths cost more than one yard of this material. This was my first time making wash cloths. No longer will I purchase them. II will post pictures later.

Rated 4 out of 5 by 3littlerascals Great for crafts and baby bibs
Maybe not the best for towelling but the price point is great for backing of bibs and its definitely thick enough to be absorbent for craft type items.
